Revista Funeraria writes about the next ASCE AGM in Granada

This Spanish magazine makes a piece of news about the next meeting of the Association, which will take place in Granada and the paricipation of the ASCE in the funerary exhibition "Funermostra" (Valencia, 2009).

European week for discovering cemeteries – 7th edition

The 7th edition of  European week of discovering cemeteries has been a success again. More than 15 cities from six different countries have participated in to this event, which purpose consist in awareness the important heritage existing in the cemeteries and get closer these enclosures to the citizens.
During the journeys, the participant cities organized several activities and, the most of them obtained a good participation, as in Plymouth, UK, where they got a record number for any of their guided walks.

The Cementery of Bonaria, Cagliari (Italy), a new member of ASCE

Mª Luisa Yzaguirre, President of ASCE, received Mr. Anselmo Piras, advisor of the Social Policies Department of City Council of Cagliari, in Barcelona the last 21st of May.

During the meeting , it took place a visit around Montjuïc cemetery, one of the monumental cemeteries of Barcelona, and it was formalized the joining of Bonaria cemetery in ASCE.

European week for discovering cemeteries

From the 1st  to the 7th of June 2009 will take place the 7th edition of the European week for discovering cemeteries. During these days, cemeteries in all Europe organize events in cemeteries in order to bring these enclosures closer of citizens.
