Each year, Significant cemeteries across Europe organize events and activities within 1 week, to raise European citizens awareness of the importance of cemeteries. Exhibitions, concerts, guided tours, seminars, workshops and other activities take place.
All activities do not take place at the same week due to cultural, national or weather conditions.
All of the events are dedicated to learning about memories and heritage of European cemeteries, emphasizing the similarities and differences among them. Getting visitors to learn how diverse and extraordinary cultures of the old continent are.
