AGM 2024

This year's AGM and Conference will take place in the second half of September 2024 in Budapest, Hungary (the exact date will be announced in the following weeks). News and updates will be published on our website, social media and sent via our newsletter on a regular basis, so don`t forget to follow us.

About AGM

Each year Annual General Meeting and conference attracts over 100 cemetery academics, artists and professionals from all over Europe. It generates a lot of public attention and through the conference helps expose important topics from modern cemeteries management. This main ASCE event is held at the end of September or beginning of October and consist of three segments:

  • Annual General Meeting of members, where most important projects and activities of ASCE are presented, along with financial and administrative reports.
  • Conference which consists of presentations over themed subjects arranged by the editorial board.
  • Guided tour of the Significant cemetery where participants can discover the particulary important monuments, events or stories that shaped the cultural heritage of town, city and Europe.
