WDEC 2020 in Rijeka, Croatia

Cemetery exhibition in town center. Guided tours, photo exhibitions, concerts and other activities took place during Week of Discovering European Cemeteries in Rijeka each year. In 2020 we wanted to remind citizens of the rich history in this practice and impressive cultural heritage resting at cemeteries of Rijeka.

Exhibition was opened by Rijeka mayor Vojko Obersnel, accompanied by mrs Nives Torbarina, KD Kozala manager and mrs. Daina Glavočić, art historian.

Citizens are encouraged to use digital guides in ARTOUR to visit the cemeteries by themselves or visit the website Park uspomena (Memorial park) to learn about Rijeka cemeteries.
