AGM 2024: Program, accommodation and tickets

Event date and locations

This year's AGM and Conference will take place from 19 to 21 September 2024 in Budapest, Hungary.

The entire event will take place at multiple locations, while the Conference venue is the Hungarian National Museum, one of the most prestigious locations in the country.

Accommodation suggestions

We recommend you the following hotels as they are close to the event venues:
It is not necessary to book a room in one of the listed hotels. You can also use booking apps to find some other accommodation options that suit you better.

Ticket purchase

This year's event introduces a significant change. In order to participate to the AGM and Conference, it is necessary to buy a ticket.

Tickets will be available for purchase online and will be valid for the entire 3-day event program, including the participation at the Conference,  snacks and coffee breaks, gala dinner, cultural programm, etc.

In order to ensure the smooth running of the event, the number of tickets will be limited.

Estimated price list:
  • Students - free (with a valid student ID card)
  • ASCE members - 40€/person
  • All others - 80€/person

Conference theme

The theme of this year's Conference is "Cemeteries as Cultural Spaces of European Remembrance". Presentations and panel discussions will focus on how cemeteries can become efficiently conveyed footprints of our joint European remembrance, tourism and education as well as park management and environmental sustainability due to continuous climate change.
